Brexit plan agreed to be delayed

Article 50 process has been agreed to be delayed by EU leaders beyond 29th March. The UK will be offered a delay until 22 May, if MPs approve the withdrawal.

If they do not, the EU will back a smaller delay until 12 April, letting the UK time to get the deal through.

Working hard to build backing for getting the deal through and she had expressed concerns in her speech last night, in which she blamed MPs for the delay, but added that MPs are unsatisfied and she was grateful to those who had supported the deal said Prime Minster Theresa May.

It confirms that the UK will not be leaving the EU on 29th March as originally planned.
