It has been reported that millions of Facebook passwords has been exposes internally to more than 20,000 employees.
Security researcher Brian Krebs exposed the news about data protection failures, which saw up to 600 million passwords kept in plain text which dated back to 2012.
Mr. Krebs said source had told him about security failures that had let developers form applications that logged and kept the passwords without encrypting them.
Facebook put out a statement that a glitch has occurred in the main server and they have stored the passwords on its internal network.
In September last year, it is said that data of 50 million users had been exposed by a security failure.
And in 2018 it was reported that Cambridge Analytica has gathered data of more than 50 million users.
