Sri Lanka Cricket has informed for head coach Chandika Hathurusinghe to return home from South Africa during the ODI series. Fielding coach Steve Rixon will take on responsibility of the team for the later T20 series.
Sri Lanka Cricket President, Shammi Silva said yesterday (14th) we have requested the head coach to return to the country and fielding coach Steve Rixon will be taking over.
Hathurusinghe will be returning to Sri Lanka from South Africa on the 16th of March. Currently South Africa is leading the series with 4-0. Fielding coach Rixon will be taking over the team for the T20 series planned between 19th and 24th March.
