MySpace admits for data losses

One of the first online social networks, MySpace today (18) apologized for the huge loss of data by the company due to server migrations.

Any photos, videos and audio files uploaded more than three years ago may no longer be available. Message on the site was seen posted.

During the platforms prime in 2003, the platform attracted more than million users. In 2006 it became the most visited site in US beating Google.

“As a result of a server migration project, any photos, videos, and audio files you uploaded more than three years ago may no longer be available on MySpace,” the website said in a statement.

“We apologize for the inconvenience.”
