President Maithripala Sirisena left for China today (13) to particpate in a conference and also have talks with the Chinese premier.
The President’s office said that he will participate the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations in Beijing.
The President left for China with a 27-member participants.
The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations will be held from May 15 to 22 in Beijing, and Chinese President Xi Jinping will grace the event and deliver a keynote speech.
President Sirisena is expected to meet his Chinese premier, Xi Jinping tomorrow (14).
