Sri Lanka urges to lift travel restrictions

Sri Lanka has appealed to the international community to lift travel warnings allotted after the Easter Sunday attacks.

President Maithripala Sirisena insisted the diplomatic community in Sri Lanka to lift the travel warnings since security in the country has been braced.

The President made the plea when he met the diplomatic community in Colombo today (07).

The United States, China, the UK, India and Australia are among the countries which allotted travel cautions on Sri Lanka.
